*cough, cough*

Ahem. Hello there. Is anyone around? No? Oh, well. I know it has been a while since I have last blogged about anything. If blogging was my source of income, I would be bankrupt by now. Thank goodness it is not.

Yes, I have been away for some time… If you really must know, here are the few reasons why:

• the Head versus the Heart – If you know me in person, you would know exactly what I meant. Well, maybe. Caine’s leave for the Institute knocked me hard to the ground. It made me more…human than ever, which led on to reason no. 2.
• the Death of the Muse – Anyone who followed me on Wordpress would know how actively I blogged back in 2008-2009. I was really inspired then, by Caine. And the feelings I have for him. So naturally, when he took leave, I was left dumbfounded and speechless. Even the fingers refused to tap anything on the keyboard.
• Home Again – My former Google blog (life@flight) was all about my student life in UiTM, my former university. I was in a stranger’s land so I had a lot to share with everyone back home. I wanted them to know how well I was doing in the new place, new environment. I was also too lazy to text them all the time. Facebook was still fairly new then. Come 2010, I became a member of the UNIRAZAK family and I was enrolled in the regional centre (Sabah). Yes, that means I am home, without much to update about.
• the Flight of the Guardians – Gabriel, Luc and Dean. They are my Guardians, Gabe being the Prime. Call them my imaginary friends if you want to but together with Caine, they have helped me a lot. Since my enrolment at the new campus though, I could not sense Gabe’s presence anymore. He who was always there for me, was gone. I knew that it would only happen if I did something wrong. 2010, I admit, was not my best year.

There you go. Four reasons why I went into hiatus all this while, why I withdrew back into my corner. Now, here I am again and I hope this time, it is for good (seriously, I don’t know how many times have I said that before). Once again, I raise my case and, drumrolls please, am proud to announce (LOL) that I am a revived blogger!

Ah, really, there is no better day to start blogging again than the day you turn 21!  Happy birthday to me!
